Cumin Tea

Cumin tea helps relieve symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is one of the most common disorders of the digestive tract, causing abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, flatulence, diarrhea, and constipation, or both. Physical or emotional stress and an unhealthy diet trigger the symptoms.

One of the most powerful remedies to relieve the symptoms is cumin—one of the oldest herbs. Studies have shown that cumin is highly effective in treating the digestive spasms, cramps, bloating, and nausea associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

In a study on 120 patients in 1999, cumin significantly reduced abdominal pain in patients with IBS, and a study in 2000 showed that cumin could relieve pain in patients with functional digestive disease.

THERAPEUTIC USE OF CUMIN
For therapeutic use, you can make a decoction or infusion of cumin. Follow the recipe.

HOW TO USE
Take 100 ml x 2 times a day (no more than that) before eating. Use this for about two weeks. You can repeat the procedure every two or three months.

The recipe is enough for two days. So make a new infusion after every two days and keep the infusion for the second day in the fridge.
